Has, in your own inner personal conversations, has the word or feeling of "overwhelm" been part of your dialogue?

May I suggest a method to improve that self talk and life experience?
Ingredients:
Moment of centering/ stillness/ meditation
Read this conversation by Danielle LaPorte: STRIKE OVERWHELM FROM YOUR VOCABULARY
I had the opportunity several years ago to listen to and meet Danielle LaPorte at the Victoria Yoga Conference. She delivered those words, the ones in the article. CLICK IT AND READ IT. She spoke those words and they connected with the vibration of my life. And I'm pretty sure in my Best Friend too because we remind one another every few months when shit gets bad....
Here I am today living an intensely similar vibration something like 4 years ago when I heard her speak those words.... That point in life where that doubt voice gets so incredibly loud "Okay Britt, NOW WHAT!?" that point where you can't even panic anymore, you're way beyond that...
It's my practice which always leads me through those intense moments... And some serious self talk guidance - This time, again, courtesy of Danielle LaPorte.
Today, I vowed to have a good day and improve my frequency. I got out of my head and I grounded myself. I sat as close to the earth as I could get and I brought myself down... I sat for a few minutes and listened to a recording of myself. Three time in a row, I needed to hear it three times.
And then I had this conversation with myself. Read it again here.
I offer you a 2:33 video that is a guided centering practice:
I hope it serves you and your highest self.
When asked why do you practice yoga, I become lit up inside; Ready with these words, these words of mine are my soul in word form:
I practice yoga so that I can sit in stillness for a period of time.
It's important to be comfortable in stillness so that I am able to get present with myself and my experiences -- I call this meditation practice.
I meditate and practice stillness so that I am able to improve the frequency of this world that you and I are part of, this world being the world I actively participate it (even if I think i'm not participating!).
Why make time for a 2:33 video on centering? Because it could be the catalyst for you to overcome, understand or appreciate a moment where you're presented the opportunity to improve the frequency of this world..
Danielle Laporte - thank you for your words:
Tragic circumstances or a circus of success — you’ve got what it takes to meet life with more giving.
And Wolf: "we aren't overwhelmed, just whelm--d"
You're doing great, girl - keep going.
xx
Continuing on this journey,
Brittaney
