A Pathway

Believing you’re on a path is a terrifying thing.

To let go of the control you’ve clenched on to for so long,

searching for stabilization with intense grip.

It would seem as if the sweaty palms are finally going to be the demise of hiding;

When we let go of the control each of the fingers are unwrapped, one by one.

One by one by choice.

Choice.

It is not the eyes that see the path before and behind,

it’s the heart.

The heart’s eye opens

and we are released from the stern grip

of the sweaty unnerving expectations of worry and pain.

We don’t fall or stumble although no doubt it’s a wild path.

When you believe you are on a path,

the shivers and goosebumps become comforting.

But it’s not that your eyes see, it’s that your heart is seen.

Let go and be welcomed, unanimously and anonymously by a world of seeing hearts.

You feel the vibration of the physical world around you.

You tune in to the soundtrack of life and collaborate with the universe.

You are infinite.

Believing you are on a path is a terrifying thing for your eyes cannot see but your heart is seen.

However you find yourself on the path:

a yoga practice,

a bad choice,

a loss,

a near miss or

by chance at the grocery store...

be welcomed and introduced to

your own being,

your heart.
