So I admit, part of me wanted to believe podcasts were fantastic and full of only brilliance. But after listening in the early days, I got too occupied with gossip - For a time it seemed that all I found was gossip or mainstream unravelling of emotions and human experiences. These two episodes happen to be on the same podcast hosted by a North Vancouver resident, Katie B. I don't know if it is the timing or the sincerity of Katie and her guests -- or the insanely cool intro, music and mashups she puts out but for the love of humanity - listen to these two for sure:

March 13th – Connor Beaton on Men and Masculinity

Whoa. I had grandparents and I have a dad and a stepdad, brothers and my boyfriend, all whom I want the absolute best for…I didn’t know this; I find peace in hearing truth, experience from the perspective of. I found myself in tears a few times through this. I appreciate the back-in time explanation for that longing curiosity of how did we get here, how feminine and masculine have clashed instead of becoming woven together, the pain that has caused the suffering… I plan to continue to listen to this podcast over and over again because there is much in here that I want to fully consider and discuss. I truly cannot paraphrase the importance of this conversation. I hope you relate.

September 4th – Aaron Rose: On Living in the Frequency of Love Now

This conversation is easy to listen to because it resonates deeply with what many of us know to be try, there has been a shift. We use to be fulfilled from the old belief that ‘Yes I am here because I can witness their pain,’ validate others in their discomfort but now is a time to shed that, that you know what,’ I’m here to witness your power!’ Listen along to Katie and Aaron discuss “who gave you that story..? cancel, clear delete” leaving you reveal the story YOU don’t need anything.
